SmartMLS Cares is the community-giving arm of SmartMLS. We connect 20,000 real estate professionals plus their loved ones to raise awareness and encourage contribution at blood drives, food drives, and local fundraisers that make a real difference.
How It Started
A story about Charlie
Anthony Capalbo, a SmartMLS subscriber from Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices, reached out to us about his nonprofit organization, Capalbo Strong, which he began in honor of his son Charlie, who courageously fought and beat cancer three times before passing away in 2022.
Upon hearing Charlie’s story, SmartMLS immediately became a sponsor—and decided to do more. That’s how SmartMLS Cares was born: a way to give back to subscribers and their loved ones in a meaningful way, with a positive impact on the community.

COMMUNITY GRANTS
10 grants, awarded every cycle
Each cycle, SmartMLS Cares awards at least 10 community grants to local nonprofits and causes nominated by our subscribers. Allocating $10,000 each year to our community, SmartMLS Cares intends to better our community and raise awareness to causes held dear to our subscribers' hearts.
